DescriptionMicroScale Thermophoresis (MST) Core Facility in the department of biosciences provides molecular interaction analysis services and training for new users. Biomolecular interactions are measured via detection of fluorescent dyes or fusion proteins. This method is sensitive to changes in size, charge and hydration shell, thus observing every interaction ranging from the formation of protein complexes to the binding of single metal ions with a dynamic range from mM to pM affinities. The instrument we offer for use is Monolith NT.115 from Nanotemper technologies.
