Description of research and teaching

My knowledge and interests are broadly related to different computer-aided forest applications - such as developing remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), (spatial) database management, and programming tools applied to forest inventory and planning.

My research has focused especially on the use of airborne laser scanning data to predict forest attributes, mainly at the level of individual trees - however, I'm interested in extending these topics in the future.
